That’s when a message popped up in a group chat from an old college friend I hadn't spoken to in ages. It was just a casual, "Hey, anyone tried this new place? Crazy luck tonight." And attached was a link. I’d seen ads for these sites before, always swiped past them, but that night, with the rain and the boredom pressing in, I was curious. I figured, why not? Just a look.
